Office of Consecrated Life

The Office of Consecrated Life serves as a guide for religious of the Diocese and for those interested in the Consecrated Life.  The Director of the Office of Consecrated Life represents the Diocesan Bishop in matters that pertain to the Consecrated Life.

The Office of Consecrated Life also sponsors many vocation events:

*  Vocation Fairs – Held in the Middle and High Schools in the Diocese

*  Nun-Runs - vocation trips to visit convents throughout the United States

*  Vocation talks - The Director of the Office of Consecrated Life speaks to teens and adult groups, such as CCD classes and family vocation days, about religious life and encouraging others to be open to the vocation God is calling them to.

*  Assists with Diocesan youth events such as Adventure Camp, Pilgrimage For Life to Washington, DC in January, and Fall and Spring Youth retreats.

    *  Say not, I am too young."  (Jeremiah 1)

    *  "Do not be afraid of Christ!  He takes nothing away, and He gives you everything.  When we give ourselves to Him, we receive a hundredfold in return.  Yes, open, open wide the doors to Christ - and you will find true life!"  (Pope Benedict XVI)
