Do You
Need a Natural Family Planning Medical Professional?
Natural Family Planning (NFP)
is a very effective way for couples to identify their fertile
time to either create new life or postpone pregnancy. It works
well in all reproductive categories and during all stages of a
couple’s reproductive years. Most couples will be able to
successfully and confidently apply NFP to their lives after
taking a basic NFP class series and working with a trained
instructor for 4 to 6 cycles.
There are couples, however,
that because of menstrual irregularities will need additional
assistance to use NFP effectively. If a woman experiences
medical conditions such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis,
cysts, etc, NFP can still be used – but additional instruction
and diagnostics will be needed. For these individuals, referrals
are made to physicians or nurse practitioners that have
specialized training in NaProTechnology. NaProTechnology is a
new women’s health science, which has as its main principle to
work cooperatively with a woman’s menstrual and fertility
cycles. NaProTechnology is the first system to network family
planning with reproductive and gynecological health monitoring
and maintenance.
We are extremely blessed, as
a Catholic Diocese, to have a number of medical professionals
who understand NaProTechnology and can apply its principles and
practice to couples with menstrual irregularities. These doctors
and nurse practitioners are located throughout our 19 county
area and will accept clients who contact them.

It is no longer necessary
for women with cycling irregularities to think that the pill or
another form of hormones is the only option open to them.
Contacting any of these physicians or nurse practitioners will
provide medical options that stem from a natural foundation. In
many cases, NaProTechnology options may prove to be more
effective than the standard protocols offered by other doctors.
For more information on
NaProTechnology please go on line to:
www.naprotechnology.com or call the NFP office for the
Diocese at 800-255-6226.
