Saint
Peter’s Faith Alive Group Helps Expectant Mom on
Bed-Rest

Our
Faith Alive group of seven participants took as our
service project to assist a family, a mother who was
pregnant with her fourth child and encountered
complications in her 3rd trimester of pregnancy, which
required her to be on bed-rest. Our group with others
in our parish volunteered to make and deliver a meal for
the family each evening during the week and some took
her to the clinic once a week to see her physician.
She
was hospitalized for a week and delivered a premature
baby before Easter. Praise the Lord, the baby is doing
well—tiny, but thriving. Mother and baby with many
prayers are doing well.
This
has been a wonderful ministry and brought the parish and
family, who are members of our parish only two years, in
a wonderful family embrace.
